The
Drag I'll admit that this isn't precise. It's the version that I've always played since I only ever played it in a single acoustic guitar setting, so there's some extra strumming to fill space. On the album it's much more of a plucked sound than a strummed sound. I was encouraged in my efforts to play this when I found that the "it's not sad" parts sounded reasonable when played in a manner akin to the main riff in the other popular 90's tune "Diz-Knee Land" (Dada)...the whole open-D-fretted-G thing... Hear an awful attempted performance by Lethargy Tar-Tare... Wants me to touch her She wants to feel me deep inside her skin, NO (C) That's a juvenile thought, 'cause I've already got a plot And it's a plot that I can't fit her in And it's not sad at all (A) (C) It's not sad - it's not sad it's not sad (A) (B) I tell her "Let's get drunk, so I can stand your face." She goes ahead, she joins right in (C) I lock her out, I smoke her joints WOOP! I laugh about her with my friends - a ha ha ha ha (A) (C) It's not sad - it's not sad it's not sad (A) (B) (end with "for me to" repeating the chords, not the single notes) I know she's trying hard to be my friend, but she's a loser and a flake People tell me "Try and like her" But I say there's just too much for me to hate. (D) x4 About that fate. And I don't care what she thinks. (C) You know that I don't care if she cares, I don't care who cares, I don't care if she cares, I don't care who cares, You know that I don't, (D) x3 that I don't, that I don't Care. |
