This is a beaut of a song, and I tried to find a simple way to play it -- and here it is. You do lose a bit without the bass and drums -- personally, I really like the way the bass punctuates the melody. But the nice thing here is that there is plenty of room for embellishment, if you're so inclined. The trickiest part is matching the lyrics -- there are places where Ben's cadence varies, and you have to practice a bit to catch his changes, or to find your own pace...but it's cool stuff! This version of the tab was hastily thrown together, so a more clean one, with lyrics, shouldn't take too long to get posted. The "optional ending chord" I tacked onto pattern 1 is something I add occasionally becuase I think it helps fill in some for the missing bass line.

Basically, you play pattern 1 for the verses, pattern 2 for the "behaving foolishly" lines, then back to pattern 1 for the "don't rely on my heroes any more" and subsequent verses. Pretty simple.
