Lil Bit Girlish
(Remembering Spongecake)

This is one of the all-time great sing-along songs. I had a full campsite of 20 or so people singing along at the top of their lungs in a completely mud-drenched campsite in the Huzzah Valley (in the camping area known as "The Zoo" becuase it had no noise restrictions on it) back in 1995...in fact, I even got the participation of the guy who came up afterwards to say/ask "You sing a lot of songs about homosexuals, dontcha?" [note: the song we played just before Lil' bit Girlish was our transexually themed cover of "Disarm" (Smashing Pumpkins), so he wasn't completely incorrect about the reigning theme for that segment of the performance...]

But really, does this need to be transcribed?? SURE!

Hear an awful attempted performance by Lethargy Tar-Tare...

G (single note)        C

I'm....a little bit -- girlish [played this way first time only]
                   G

             C         B  A

                 F        G

I'm a little bit girlish
                 C-----G-C-

I don't belch in public

------G          C

I'm a little bit girlish
<rest of round as above>

(repeat twice for a total of 3 rounds, getting progressively sillier each time)

The dashed lines near the end just indicate the little walkin' bridge between each round.
It's important you make everyone sing along and feel silly, especially people who may think

this threatens their masculinity.
